Barista

Location: Hawalli, Kuwait



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies. You must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to customer orders
- Ensure consistent quality of all drinks served
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and maintain an accurate cash register
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
- Create new drink recipes based on customer preferences
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art techniques
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Friendly personality with a positive attitude towards work
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays
