Job Duties

As a Baker at our company, you will be responsible for preparing breads, cakes, pastries, pies and other baked goods from scratch or using pre-made mixes according to recipes or customer specifications. You will measure ingredients accurately using scales or measuring cups; mix dough’s; shape dough into required forms; bake goods; decorate finished products with icings or glazes; package products for shipping or local sale; rotate stock to ensure freshness; use food handling techniques such as slicing, wrapping and packaging food products; keep accurate records of inventory levels; clean equipment such as ovens or mixers according to health & safety regulations; maintain a clean work area by sweeping floors or wiping down surfaces etc.
