Job Objective / Summary:

Manage audit, assurance and other related services practice

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Professional Certificates:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certificate

Experience:

12 – 15 years of experience (preferably 8 years in international audit firms)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement the operational plan for business development in the audit practice
  • Prepare the annual budget for the audit portfolio (projected profit and loss)
  • Prepare the annual service promotion plan
  • Review and update the website pages
  • Prepare technical and financial proposals submitted to clients
  • Prepare client engagement letters
  • Review the draft reports
  • Prepare and deliver presentations
  • Prepare the annual report for the Capital Markets Authority
  • Conduct monthly training for the Department staff
  • Review administrative filing of softcopy and hardcopy files
  • Perform any other tasks that may be assigned to them by the direct manager

Knowledge:

1- Technical knowledge:

A. Proficiency in International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

B. Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

2- Legal knowledge:

A. Companies Law No. 1 of 2016 and its Executive Regulations, as amended

B. Commerce Law No. 68 of 1980 and its Executive Regulations, as amended

C. Law No. 7 of 2010 regarding the Establishment of Capital Markets Authority and Regulation of D. Securities Activity and its Executive Regulations, in particular Module Five “Securities Activity and E. Registered Persons"

F. Private Sector Labor Law No. 6 of 2010 and its Executive Regulations, as amended

G. Any other relevant legislations

A. Proficiency in conducting work-related tasks in Arabic
