Overview

This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. Responsible for deploying and maintaining audio, video, and event lighting systems; system design, installation, and programming; and serving the Audio-Visual Department as required.

Responsibilities

This description is subject to change as needed to meet program or company requirements.

  1. Provide live event services for ceremonies, concerts, and other events, including digital audio system setup and operation, live video system setup and operation, and event lighting system setup and operation.
  2. Maintain all deployable audio and visual systems to manufacturer standards, ensuring equipment can be deployed with minimal notice.
  3. Maintain the ability to deploy two event audio systems simultaneously.
  4. Manage schedules for all events and installations, resolving conflicts as necessary.
  5. Ensure accountability of all Audio Visual GFE through regular property audits.
  6. Perform property management services for the Audio-Visual Department.
  7. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Secret Clearance and ability to maintain it.
  • Meet AR 25-2 requirements for NIPRNET access.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service training.
  • Ability to obtain a host nation driver's license with a heavy vehicle endorsement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Infocom CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification preferred.
  • Experience with AMX, ACE-D, ACE-I, ACE-P, and Extron AV systems preferred.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • 2+ years in live event production, specializing in Audio, Video, or Lighting.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-3 years in audio/visual system design, installation, or programming, with knowledge of CCTV systems and software.

Skills:

  • AV system design, installation, and programming.
  • Live audio, video, and light mixing.
  • Power distribution knowledge.
  • Cable termination skills.
  • System calibration.
  • Electrical and IT skills.
  • Problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Electrical safety awareness.
  • Good communication and customer care skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120°F.
  • Indoor and outdoor environments, including harsh desert conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light work with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Potential for heavy lifting, climbing, prolonged standing/sitting, and exposure to hazards.
  • Use of PPE required in certain situations.
  • Compliance with safety regulations.
