Purpose: Under the general direction, this position is responsible for managing the functions of the supply department, including receiving, processing, storing, issuing, inventories, and accountability of set equipment. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidance and PWS requirements regarding containers, Class III products, retrograde of equipment, receipt and accountability of equipment, inventory and accountability of secondary items, and storage of all assets. Oversees readiness and configuration of set equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitors and reviews personnel performance, providing counseling, training, and guidance as needed.
- Conducts employee interviews and executes hiring actions if required.
- Develops and revises standard operating procedures, flow charts, and work instructions to meet mission requirements.
- Troubleshoots problems, identifies solutions, and develops process improvements.
- Prepares slide briefings and conducts briefings for senior leadership as needed.
- Ensures tasks are executed to meet mission deadlines.
- Oversees data administration on the contract, including report generation, contract deliverables, plans, SOPs, and documentation.
- Manages APS-5 equipment accountability, configuration, and storage.
- Acts as the primary communication link between the department and the LOC to ensure efficient task and mission execution.
- Interfaces with USG, COR, ASC QA, and external customers.
- Coordinates and tracks progress with other departments to ensure completion of assigned missions.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of all phases of Supply.
- Ensures compliance with PWS requirements and company goals.
- Supports safety policies and fosters a safety-first culture, aiming for low accident and injury rates.
- Adheres to ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions supporting the Quality Management System.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years’ supervisory experience in supply or related activities.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and related applications.
- Ability to multitask and extensive knowledge of Army Supply documentation (e.g., DA Forms).
- Deep understanding of Army Supply Regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 740-26, DA PAM 708-2).
- Comprehensive knowledge of logistical support operations.
- Ability to plan, organize, manage, and delegate tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS), LOGSA LIW, and other property systems.
Certification, License & Clearance:
- Driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain NIPR access and USG STAMIS access.
- Tier 1 NACI or higher clearance required for U.S. Citizens.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands:
- Ability to work efficiently in extreme environmental conditions.
- Must endure long hours, weather exposure, and hazardous conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
