Bachelor of Business Administration (Management)

Job Location: Kuwait

Experience: 3 to 5 years in finance and accounting within the retail industry; experience with Oracle ERP system is a must.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline; CA/CPA/ACCA certification preferred; proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools; knowledge of IFRS; strong communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills; understanding of industry, regulatory, and legislative financial developments.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Lead financial reporting projects and implement changes in accounting standards and group policies.
  • Conduct monthly review of Trial Balance and General Ledger.
  • Maintain and review accounting policies and workflows in Oracle ERP.
  • Analyze monthly costs versus budgets at store/brand level.
  • Prepare management reports including P&L, Cash Flow, variance, and ratio analysis.
  • Perform detailed P&L variance analysis (MTD & YTD).
  • Assist in annual business plan preparation.
  • Identify and report internal control weaknesses.
  • Automate reporting processes using Excel and macros.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors.
