Assistant Field Engineer - Cementing

Location: Kuwait

Technical Support and Service Execution

1. Support the design and delivery of well-engineered, cost-effective solutions for customers.
2. Utilize company software and tools to assist in job planning and execution.
3. Ensure to follow operational best practices to ensure service delivery meets quality standards.

Customer and Team Interaction

1. Maintain a professional and collaborative approach while engaging with customers on-site.
2. Assist in addressing client queries and providing technical support in consultation with the Senior Engineer.
3. Support the development of customer relationships by promoting the company’s products and services.
4. Collaborate with field operators and technical teams to ensure seamless operations.

Safety, Compliance, and Quality Assurance

1. Adhere to all company and client safety standards, policies, procedures, and ESG initiatives.
2. Participate in safety training, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
3. Monitor job execution to identify and report any potential hazards or risks.

Learning and Development

1. Continuously learn and enhance technical knowledge related to oilfield services, tools, and processes.
2. Participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to build expertise.
3. Stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.

Operational Support

1. Assist in job risk analysis, troubleshooting, and the resolution of operational challenges.
2. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, job summaries, and documentation.
3. Support equipment inventory management and logistics coordination for field operations.

Experience and Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum); preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree.

Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in oilfield services, with exposure to technical support, operations, and customer engagement.

Relevant certifications in oilfield services and project management are a plus.

Eligibility Criteria:

Strong understanding of cement chemistry and the various additives used in cementing operations.
Proficiency in innovative design, laboratory testing, and software used for data analysis.
Experience in managing, coaching & developing people.
Strategic thinker and performance-driven.
Technically sound in the cementing field.
Understanding of P&L.
Digitally savvy.
Ability to interpret well-site data and integrate it into operational planning.
Experience in oilfield operations, including cementing and laboratory testing.
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
