Job summary

Avanta Works in Al-Kuwait is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare and bake a wide range of products, including breads, cakes and pastries, and ensure high quality and hygiene standards are met.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines, monitor the baking process, decorate finished products, and maintain clean, safe equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a baker or similar role.
• Familiarity with baking techniques such as kneading, mixing, rolling etc.
• Knowledge of hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipe instructions
• Measure out ingredients accurately
• Mix ingredients together using appropriate utensils
• Follow instructions carefully when baking products
• Monitor the baking process and adjust temperature as required
• Decorate finished products as per customer requests
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and maintained in good working order
• Maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the bakery
