A leading construction company in Kuwait is seeking a highly skilled professional for project management in mechanical or construction work. The candidate will oversee site operations, manage labor and equipment allocation, and ensure compliance with safety standards while fostering effective communication with stakeholders.
- Study client work requisitions, review supplier offers, and prepare work proposals for client approval.
- Review drawings, bill of quantities, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Manage all mechanical or construction work at the site.
- Organize work according to load and the specialization of subordinates.
- Have experience in flowlines or pipelines.
- Coordinate activities of subcontractors.
- Be responsible for supervisors, foremen, and labor force.
- Control the allocation of labor and equipment on site.
- Suggest alternative materials, equipment, or devices for the benefit of the company or client.
- Review and study variations suggested by the client, and submit comments to the project manager or department manager.
- Fulfill the company's production policies and interests.
- Prepare progress reports for the project or department manager.
- Ensure maximum utilization of workforce and equipment at the site.
- Advise the project manager of actual or anticipated deviations from the contractual scope of work and detect variances.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Architecture.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar field.
- Must have mandatory MPW approval.
- Knowledge of safety rules and procedures.
- Practical application knowledge.
- Leadership skills and customer relationship management.
- Administration and management skills.
- Decision making, problem solving, and computer skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
