Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies in Kuwait City seeks an AI Solutions Architect to design end-to-end banking AI architectures, from chatbot interfaces through RAG and model layers to data and infra. You will define reusable patterns, guardrails, and standards for Azure and open-source stacks, ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a small team, mentor engineers, and collaborate with governance and security specialists to deliver secure, compliant reference architectures for banking clients

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/data/AI engineering.
• Experience architecting production cloud-based GenAI/RAG systems, preferably in banking.

Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search (vector + hybrid retrieval),

Urgent requirement for AI Solutions Architect in Banking Domain is required for our banking clients in Kuwait Designs complete AI/ML solutions from chatbot interfaces through RAG/model layers to data and infrastructure, while defining reusable patterns, guardrails, and standards.---Must Acts as design authority across both Microsoft Azure (Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI Service, AI Search, Fabric, Kubernetes) and open-source stacks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector stores, vLLM, Hugging Face, Terraform).--Must Implements least-privilege, zero-trust designs, encryption, key management, OWASP LLM mitigations, and ensures architectures meet CBK regulatory expectations and model-risk policies.--Must 1

• Role Overview The anchor hire and technical owner of the AI Factory. This role designs the end-to end architecture for every use case — from the chatbot interface down through the RAG and model layer to data and infrastructure — and defines the reusable patterns, guardrails and standards needed for AI/Ml cases. Acts as design authority on both a Microsoft Azure build and an equivalent open-source build, and is jointly accountable with the Governance & Security Specialist for a secure, compliant reference architecture. Provides day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring to a small team. 2
• Role Experience 8+ years in software/data/AI engineering, with 3+ years architecting production systems on cloud. Demonstrated design ownership of at least one GenAI / RAG or ML system in production, ideally in banking, financial services or another regulated sector. Experience defining architecture standards, reference patterns and technology trade-offs (build vs. buy, managed vs. open source). Track record of working with security, risk and compliance teams to get designs approved in a regulated environment 3
• Core Skills & Capabilities

Microsoft Stack (reference Build)

Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search (vector + hybrid retrieval), Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Fabric. Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility for employee-facing chatbots on the intranet. Azure landing-zone design, networking (VNet, Private Endpoints), Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Service / Container Apps.

Open-source / Custom Stack

Orchestration frameworks (LangChain / LlamaIndex / Semantic Kernel), open vector stores (pgvector, Qdrant, Milvus, Weaviate). Open/self-hosted model serving (vLLM, Ollama, Hugging Face TGI) and open models (Llama, Mistral) for custom or cost-sensitive builds. Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform for portable, cloud-agnostic deployment.

Security, Access & Data Management

Designs to least-privilege and zero-trust: identity via Microsoft Entra ID (orKeycloak), RBAC/ABAC, and segregation of duties baked into the architecture. Owns the data-protection design: classification-aware data flows, encryption in transit and at rest, key management (Azure Key Vault / HashiCorp Vault), and data residency within Kuwait / CBK requirements. Bakes in the OWASP LLM Top 10 mitigations (prompt-injection isolation, output filtering, tool sandboxing) and full audit logging by design. Ensures every architecture is reviewed against CBK regulatory expectations and the bank's model-risk and information-security policies before build.
