Job summary

Americana Restaurants is seeking a qualified finance professional to join our Kuwait City finance team. The role focuses on financial reporting, general ledger integrity, and close processes across monthly and yearly cycles.

You will manage bank reconciliations, ensure tax compliance, and support audits while collaborating with operations to monitor budgets and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
• Strong background in general ledger management, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cost control.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts regularly.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with filings.
• Assist in tracking budget vs actual performance.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
