Senior Accountant - Hawalli, Kuwait


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws and regulations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and finance to further develop their skills and grow within our company.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial records.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax laws.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost reduction or profit improvement.
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Handle any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred).
- CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of local accounting regulations and tax laws in Kuwait.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (SAP preferred).
- Experience working with a diverse team.

Salary: $1300 per month + accommodation provided.
