Job description

Overview

This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. The Account Administrator will monitor, maintain, and reconcile the US Government and Company communication device bills for the Telephone Billing and Reconciliation Office (TBRO). This role requires a high level of knowledge of accounting practices and financial analysis. The Account Administrator will also serve as the Technical Monitor for the mobile communication device subcontractors.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  1. Input all Government billing data from hard and soft copy reports into billing spreadsheets and download data from company mobile communication devices (MCD).
  2. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual internal and external financial reports.
  3. Compile, sort, and reconcile all data monthly to ensure accuracy and produce billing reports. Analyze usage data and cost history, report trends, and projections to management regarding US Government and Company MCD bills.
  4. Assist management in using financial data to recommend solutions for problematic issues.
  5. Monitor and record changes to reports from Directorates and manage payment returns. Submit reports to finance for processing.
  6. Secure acquisition and distribution of all MCD chips, handle customer service duties, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
  7. Act as Technical Monitor for the company's cell phone service, monitoring subcontractor performance to contract standards and serving as the point of contact for MCD issues.
  8. Maintain administrative files and records according to AR 25-400-2.
  9. Recommend policies and procedures affecting the TBRO accounting system and participate in developing departmental work instructions, SOWs, and project procedures.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Must be CAC eligible and/or obtain a CAC Card.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain U.S. Government Motor Vehicle and host nation Driver's Licenses.
  • Two years of experience analyzing financial information and preparing reports.
  • Three years of experience in office administration and customer service roles preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with employees and management at all levels, including multi-national staff and military officers.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, handle confidential information, and make sound judgments.
  • Customer service skills and high organizational and planning abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and Word/Outlook (intermediate).
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively in English.
  • Required training: Customer service, DoD Information Assurance Awareness, Fort Gordon IASO.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including temperatures exceeding 120°F, in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Some industrial environment exposure.
Physical Requirements
  • Light work involving exertion up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
  • May require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing or sitting, and working with potentially hazardous agents with PPE as needed.
