Job summary
Inova Children’s Heart Center in Northern Virginia is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team of 19 board-certified specialists. The physician will collaborate with Heart Center leadership to establish and grow a clinical presence in Maryland locations, including Shady Grove and Frederick, serving communities adjacent to Northern Virginia.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Completed Pediatric residency program.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia.
- BLS on start; ACLS and PALS as appropriate.
- Credentialing with third-party payors and CMS enrollment.
- Medical Staff credentialing for membership and privileges.
Responsibilities
- Interpret outpatient general pediatric cardiology care and inpatient services (Ward/Consult/Stepdown).
- Collaborate with Heart Center leadership to set yearly personal and programmatic goals focused on safety, quality, patient experience, access and stewardship.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment with education and research support.
- Educate medical students and pediatric residents; engage with research professionals when applicable.
