Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of combined professional experience in career services or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years in coaching, advising, placement, or relationship management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Ability to build rapport, influence outcomes, and communicate effectively with students, graduates, and employers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume caseloads.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and student information systems such as CampusVue, CampusNexus, or PowerBI is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, and ability to travel locally for employer visits and events.
• Knowledge of healthcare career pathways or related industry trends is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized career coaching including resume/cover letter development, tailored job search strategies, interview preparation, and networking guidance.
• Facilitate individual and group sessions through workshops, drop-ins, presentations, and networking events.
• Build and nurture employer relationships including externships and direct-hire opportunities.
• Develop, coordinate, and host employer engagement events such as job fairs and mock interviews.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate externship-to-hire pathways and improve conversions.
• Maintain records to monitor engagement, outreach, and program outcomes for data-driven improvements.
• Promote the college brand and career services through community outreach and campus activities.
• Monitor caseloads and performance indicators; address gaps and follow-up needs.
• Represent the college professionally in the community and at campus events.
