Job summary
Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the home health setting. The RN will use assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to support patients and families, coordinating with physicians and team members to ensure quality care.
The role emphasizes home health care, adherence to standards, ongoing education, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Weekend shifts include a differential pay, and a valid RN license is required.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum of one year professional nursing experience preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; valid driver's license; BLS; COS-C preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing services using the nursing process in home health.
- Collaborate with patient, family and inter-professional team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
- Document patient responses and ensure standards of practice and ethics.
