Job summary

Paul Hastings is seeking a Consultant for the Life Sciences & Health Care Consulting Group to deliver high‑quality compliance services to pharmaceutical and medical device clients. The consultant will design and implement risk‑management programs, collaborate with practice professionals, and help expand the group’s market presence.

Key duties include developing strategies for complex challenges, producing client deliverables using Excel and PowerPoint, and transforming ideas into visualizations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree/Major in Engineering (preferably Biomedical), English, Finance, Economics, Business, or related course of study (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (required).
At least 1-2 years of experience in a consulting/professional services environment (required).
Experience conducting data and financial analyses, valuation, or FMV assessments, preferably in life sciences (required).
Strong analytical and modeling skills, with ability to interpret compensation and market research (required).
Experience in life sciences industry (preferred).
Foundational knowledge of US/global regulatory agencies and guidelines (preferred).

Responsibilities

Develop strategies to solve complex challenges.
Create and deliver quality client deliverables (Excel and PowerPoint) on time.
Partner with Life Sciences Practice professionals to visualize outputs of assessments and analyses.
Stay updated on local, national, and international issues affecting clients.
Support business and product development to expand market presence.
Assist with account planning, marketing, recruiting, training, and performance management.
