Job description

Eitri Foundry is looking to grow our operations team by hiring a Project Coordinator for our planned expansion office to be opened in Painesville, Ohio.

As a part of that process, the Project Coordinator will work with the rest of the team to assist in managing, organizing, documenting, and communicating information on active and in‑development projects.

Primary duties would include maintaining clear channels of communication and recording/sharing information with clients, subcontractors, site owners, financing partners, and other project stakeholders. To that end, the Project Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing detailed documentation of project activity & recording/reporting details, interacting with local communities, stakeholders, and permitting agencies, maintaining relationships with all previously listed parties. This position is expected to closely collaborate with the rest of the team to bring project opportunities from concept through to commercial operation.

This is an entry level position that does not mandate relevant prior experience but strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills are strict requirements. Must have ability to travel between project sites up to 75% of the time. Must be comfortable joining a smaller team performing larger projects – an ideal scenario for an entrepreneurial‑minded individual looking to participate in both the responsibilities and rewards of generating value through project development and construction. This position is ideal for someone looking to break into the renewable energy industry as we will provide training opportunities and an environment to learn.

  • Verify site activities match with project schedule, document any deviations, and communicate progress or challenges with the appropriate people.
  • Daily & weekly check‑ins & reporting with subcontractors and project management team.
  • Identify potential flaws or vulnerabilities in logistics and scheduling and develop solutions.
  • Interface with and support team members including engineers and other design professionals.
  • Ongoing monitoring of site activities to gauge site challenges, document feedback from subcontractors, and monitor overall site progress.
  • Represent the team as a professional while interfacing with local officials and representatives.
  • Manage relationships with all relevant stakeholders with particular attention to promoting mutual growth & partnership‑oriented support, while also providing strong conflict resolution skills during any potential challenges.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively coordinate with individuals inside and outside of the organization.

  • Self‑starter, ability to manage multiple projects at different points in the development or construction process, across different locations.
  • Research and analytical skills.
