Job summary

Think Academy is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to support elementary through middle school students in Bellevue, Washington. You will assist teachers, deliver math activities, and provide feedback to help students practice and improve.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or are pursuing one, strong communication with parents, and a passion for teaching and education. You should be available 12–20 hours per week, primarily on weekends and weekday afternoons.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above, all majors welcome as long as you are passionate about kids and math teaching.
No math teaching experience required, but a big plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to commit to at least one whole semester of teaching.
Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Teach mathematics to students from Pre-K through MS grades.
Actively engage and manage a classroom of up to 16 students.
Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and teaching guidance.
Grade homework and provide other essential teaching-related services; communicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback.
Work 12-20 hours per week, primarily during weekends and weekday afternoons.
