Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Manager to oversee our West Chester clinic. The role combines leadership with hands-on clinical practice to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

The manager will supervise staff, develop service plans, manage budgets, and collaborate with physicians to achieve department goals. This is a full-time position with standard clinic hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
Current state PT license required.
PT certification required.
CPR certification required.
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in physical therapy.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of physical therapy principles and clinical applications.
Understanding of business and supervisory concepts, including total quality management (TQM).
Experience in patient assessment and treatment.
Experience managing budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and quality audits.
Strong communication skills and ability to establish effective relationships with patients, staff, and administrators.

Responsibilities

Implement and enforce written policies and procedures for all processes in the physical therapy department.
Develop short- and long-term work plans and objectives for all rehabilitation services.
Collaborate with physicians and administration to achieve departmental service goals.
Oversee purchasing and supply management for the clinic.
Ensure employee and patient rights are upheld.
Utilize all aspects of the clinic’s software system effectively.
Assist with selection, training, orientation, and supervision of personnel.
Lead by example and adhere to AEIOU behavioral standards and management expectations.
Manage day-to-day staffing requirements and conduct scheduled team/clinic meetings.
Conduct performance management reviews in a timely manner.
Actively participate in patient assessment and treatment as a Physical Therapist.
Perform other duties as assigned.
