Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and understand their data needs.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s data sources and systems to extract relevant data for reporting purposes.
• Design and build visually appealing and interactive reports using tools such as Power BI, Salesforce Reports, Tableau, and other reporting platforms.
• Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance in reports.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data and present findings in a clear and concise manner to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and implement data visualization best practices to enhance the usability and effectiveness of reports.
• Monitor and track report performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on report generation, interpretation, and utilization.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data visualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Proven experience (4-7 years) in developing and analyzing reports using tools like Power BI, Salesforce Reports, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data warehouse architectures.
• Solid understanding of business intelligence concepts and methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Experience with data integration, data cleansing, and ETL processes is a plus.
• Certification in relevant reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
