Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Z3_PEGA Senior System Architect with Upgrade experience to join our Bengaluru-based team. You will drive end-to-end Pega platform upgrades, assess impacts, and remediate complex legacy systems to Infinity.

You will collaborate with architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable Pega solutions, ensure performance, security, and reliable production readiness throughout upgrades and deployments.

Qualifications

• CSSA Certification
• Hands-on experience in Pega upgrade projects.
• Experience upgrading from Pega 7.x/8.x to Pega Infinity.
• Knowledge of Data Pages and integration components.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP, Kafka, JMS.
• Security frameworks including SSO, OAuth, LDAP, SAML.
• Performance tuning and deployment management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Pega platform upgrade initiatives from older Pega versions to Pega Infinity.
• Perform upgrade impact assessments and prepare remediation plans.
• Analyze deprecated features and implement alternatives.
• Refactor legacy apps to align with Pega best practices.
• Resolve upgrade-related guardrail violations and technical debt.
• Validate integrations, agents, queue processors, and authentication mechanisms.

Z3_PEGA Senior System Architect with Upgrade experience

We are currently seeking a Z3_PEGA Senior System Architect with Upgrade experience to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) with strong expertise in Pega platform upgrades and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in planning and executing complex Pega upgrades, including migration from legacy Pega versions to the latest Infinity platform, while ensuring application stability, performance, security, and business continuity.

The candidate will work closely with Business Architects, Lead System Architects, DevOps teams, Infrastructure teams, and Business Stakeholders to deliver scalable and future-ready Pega solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Pega platform upgrade initiatives from older Pega versions to Pega Infinity.
• Perform upgrade impact assessments and prepare technical remediation plans.
• Analyze deprecated features and implement suitable alternatives.
• Refactor and optimize legacy applications to align with current Pega best practices.
• Resolve upgrade-related guardrail violations and technical debt.
• Validate compatibility of integrations, agents, queue processors, REST/SOAP services, and authentication mechanisms.

Solution Design & Development

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Pega solutions using Pega Platform.
• Configure Case Types, Data Pages, Flows, Decisioning, Integrations, Security, and Reporting components.
• Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and enterprise architecture standards.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.

Performance & Stability

• Conduct performance analysis and tuning post-upgrade.
• Identify and mitigate application bottlenecks.
• Support load testing and production readiness activities.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Manage branch strategies and application packaging.
• Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams during upgrade and deployment activities.

Testing & Production Support

• Support SIT, UAT, and Production validation activities.
• Analyze and resolve defects identified during upgrade testing.
• Participate in production implementation and hypercare support.
