Job summary

YesMadam seeks a strategic and hands-on VP Engineering to lead our engineering organization and scale a high-performing technology platform for at-home beauty and wellness services across India.

You will own the technology strategy, set architectural standards, and build scalable systems while partnering closely with Product, Design, Data and Business teams to deliver fast, reliable product experiences as we expand to new cities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software/product engineering.
• 2+ years in senior engineering leadership (VP Eng / Head of Eng, etc.).
• Experience scaling large engineering organizations.
• Strong system architecture, distributed systems, APIs, databases and cloud tech.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms.
• Experience building and scaling consumer-facing web/mobile apps.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

As we scale across cities, we are looking for a VP Engineering to lead our engineering organization and build a highly scalable, reliable and high-performing technology platform.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on VP Engineering who will own the overall engineering organization, technology execution and engineering strategy.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical depth, product thinking, business understanding and people leadership. You will work closely with the founders, product and business leadership to translate company objectives into scalable technology solutions and ensure fast, reliable product delivery.

This role is ideal for an engineering leader who has successfully built and scaled engineering teams and consumer-facing technology products.

• Strong understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, APIs, databases and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms.
• Experience building and scaling consumer-facing web/mobile applications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
