Job summary

Valtech is seeking an Xstore Tech Lead in Bengaluru with 8+ years of IT experience focused on Oracle Xstore POS. You will drive Xstore upgrades, design technical solutions with business teams, and lead end-to-end implementations.

You will develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Xstore POS applications, contribute to multiple full-cycle projects, and design ERP/CRM integrations. The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, QA, and analysts.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of IT experience with strong focus on Oracle Xstore POS.
• Xstore version upgrades - at least 2 projects.
• Hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate.
• Strong skills in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience in Oracle Retail ecosystem and POS integrations.
• Minimum 4 end-to-end Xstore implementations.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Xstore version upgrades, at least 2 projects.
• Working with the Business teams to understand the requirement and design technical solutions.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Xstore POS applications.
• Contribute to at least 4 full-cycle Oracle Xstore implementation projects.
• Design and implement inbound/outbound integrations (ERP, CRM, OMS, EFTLink, Customers, Articles, Prices, Promotions, Sales/Settlement).
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical production issues and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and QA teams.
• Ensure coding standards, conduct unit testing, and perform code reviews.
• Support enhancements, new features, and localization requirements.
• Perform POCs
• Mentor the team members

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
