Job summary

Animal Health Pathology Lab seeks a qualified Portable X-Ray Technician to provide on-site X-ray services at clients’ locations. You will travel using the company vehicle, set up portable X-ray gear, and perform prescribed examinations with adherence to safety standards.

Maintain records and ensure high-quality images, coordinating with doctors and staff as needed. The role requires valid X-ray technician certification, willingness to travel, and strong communication skills to interact with

Qualifications

• Certified X-Ray or Radiology Technician with valid license where required.
• Valid registration/licensing as per local regulations.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Portable X-Ray Technician to provide on-site X-ray services at clients' locations. The technician will travel to client locations using company-owned vehicles, perform X-rays according to scheduled bookings, and ensure all procedures are carried out safely, professionally, and in compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations using the company-provided vehicle as per the daily booking schedule.
• Set up and operate portable X-ray equipment at the client's location.
• Perform X-ray examinations as prescribed and booked.
• Verify patient/client details and ensure the correct examination is performed.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain appropriate safety standards.
• Handle and transport portable X-ray equipment carefully.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the equipment.
• Ensure images are of suitable diagnostic quality and upload/transfer them according to company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of examinations and client visits.
• Communicate professionally with clients, patients, doctors, and company staff.
• Report any equipment issues, delays, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow the assigned route and booking schedule and arrive at client locations on time.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification as an X-Ray/Radiology Technician.
• Valid registration or license as required by local regulations.
• Experience operating portable/mobile X-ray equipment preferred.
• Good knowledge of radiation protection and patient safety procedures.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client locations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, punctual, and patient-friendly attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
