Job description

Job Description:

Based out of our R&D department, you will be joining the Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps team, consisting of skilled DevOps & Infrastructure engineers. The global team, that is part of a SAFe train, is responsible for building & maintaining a modern large-scale cloud environment that enables WS Audiology to release software in an efficient, secure & reliable manner.

As one of our experienced Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be joining an international Scrum team with dedicated and skilled professionals to help build WS Audiology's next-generation cloud application software.

What you will do:

  1. Analyze overall requirements and design the appropriate cloud infrastructure services.
  2. Develop, build, automate & maintain an available cloud infrastructure platform on Microsoft Azure for customers worldwide.
  3. Work closely with geographically distributed teams including Development, Cloud and Infrastructure architects and hearing aid specialists to create best-in-class cloud solutions.
  4. Partner closely with development teams and support them with generic and expandable cloud solutions.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and incidents and ensure root cause analysis and preventive actions are performed.
  6. Willing to work as part of L3 24/7 on call schedule on rotation with other team members.
  7. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team and newly onboarded team members, ensuring best practices and maintaining high standards of quality in releases.
  8. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What you bring:

  1. BE/B.Tech degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 10 to 15 years' experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Azure DevOps.
  3. Background in Software Development.
  4. Experience in Cloud and DevOps Architecture and best practices.
  5. Experience working with large-scale cloud-based systems.
  6. Experience in Azure infrastructure and development, .NET Core/C# based; Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
  7. Experience in .NET core and C# based application development.
  8. Experience in Azure Infrastructure with emphasis on microservices with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and serverless capabilities (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and ServiceBus, Cosmos database etc.).
  9. Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
  10. Modern DevOps and deployment automation practices such as build and release pipelines.
  11. Expertise in PowerShell/Bash scripting.
  12. Good conceptual understanding of Cloud and Microservices architecture and system thinking.
  13. Knowledge and experience with monitoring systems, such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor.
  14. You have understanding of development, ideally within the .NET ecosystem.
  15. Experience in working with Agile and SAFe development methodologies.
  16. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional departments and influence decision-making.
