Job summary

WPP is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Lead to join our team in India. You will oversee the technical integration implementation, requiring deep technical expertise in Workday, strong agile management capabilities, and the ability to lead a team of technical specialists within WPP and the system integrator.

You will drive end-to-end integrations (HCM/FINS & PSA), mentor colleagues, stay current with Workday updates, and provide weekly status updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Expert in Workday integration with hands-on experience.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, PECI, and Report Writer.
• Familiar with middleware solutions like Informatica.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to lead technical integration projects.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Workday Integration Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the technical integration implementation, requiring deep technical expertise in Workday, strong agile management capabilities, and the ability to lead a team of technical specialists within WPP and the system integrator.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for the integrations deployed, configuration, and optimization of all Workday outbound, inbound and boomerang (HCM/FINS & PSA) integrations, ensuring alignment with WPP’s business objectives for all Workday releases.


• Lead integration workshops to meet specific business requirements, utilizing advanced tools like Workday Studio, Middleware, and Workday Extend/Prism.


• Coordinate with stakeholders across various departments, ensuring integration solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.


• Provide advanced technical support for Workday-related issues, troubleshooting complex problems, and ensuring timely resolution.


• Manage and mentor a team of Workday technical specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.


• Stay current with Workday updates and new features, driving continuous improvement and innovation within WPP’s Workday environment.


• Provide weekly status updates to leadership and manage the integration development plan as well as the RAID.

What you'll need:

• Deep Technical Expertise: Proficient in Workday integration. Skilled with Workday tools such as Web Service APIs, Studio, EIB, PECI, Report Writer, Cloud Connectors, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XSLT, and middleware solutions like Informatica. Develop and maintain Workday Extend integrations, reports, and workflows


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.


• Analytical and Problem‑Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, focused on delivering innovative and practical technical solutions.


• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Proactive collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal departments to obtain cooperation.


• Good to have knowledge on Workday Orchestrate for integration.
