Job summary

Huron in India seeks an Associate with hands-on Workday data conversion experience to join our global consultancy. You will deliver data migration tasks in HCM, Financials, or Student modules, map legacy data, validate loaded data, and support client leadership with clear status reporting.

You will work with iLoads, EIBs, and other Workday tools, leverage Excel and the Office suite, and mentor junior staff while aligning with leadership strategy and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
• Substantial delivery in data conversion for Workday using iLoads/EIBs.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience mapping legacy data and communicating with clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data conversion workstreams in Workday projects (HCM/Financials/Student) across multiple phases.
• Communicate with project leadership to establish trust and collaboration.
• Map legacy data, identify data quality issues, and drive conversion activites.
• Follow leadership to set Workday project goals and milestones.
• Identify process improvements based on project experience.

Requirements

• Substantial and measurable delivery within the data conversion workstreams of 1 or more HCM, Financials, or Student implementations for at least two phases
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical, Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics, or relevant field of study
• Converting Data into Workday using Huron proprietary and Workday provided loading tools. Support the validation of data loaded into Workday. High proficiency with MS Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• Support clients in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues and overall responsibility over conversion activates on the project. Support key communication to project and client leadership.
• Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals.
• Support the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience.

Preferences

• Current Workday certification
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a Workday data conversion role using iLoads, EIBs, Customer Central or other Workday data conversion tools.
• Knowledge and experience with database products, such as SQL Server or Oracle, entity relationships, SQL, and Programming
• Strong experience working with ETL software, Web Services, XML/XSLT, VBA, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project‑management and technical dimensions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and experience with tools such as Excel and Access used to translate information and requirements into documentation and solution design.
• Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.
• Experience with software tools such as Notepad++, UltraEdit, Oxygen XML, AQT, Beyond Compare, ASAP Utilities, etc.
