Job summary

Jade Global is seeking a skilled Workday Finance Functional Consultant/Lead to guide and support end-to-end Workday Finance and PSA implementations. You will work with clients to understand financial and project processes, configure modules, and ensure a seamless deployment.

Key responsibilities include client consultation, solution design, configuration of PSA (Projects/Billing/Tracking) alongside GL, and training end-users on project-to-cash workflows while ensuring successful adoption

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
• Proven experience implementing and configuring Workday PSA (Projects/Project Billing).
• Must possess at least one active Workday Finance core certification (e.g., Workday Financials Core).
• Deep understanding of financial processes, project accounting, and financial reporting in Workday.
• Expertise in configuring complex business processes, org structures, and advanced reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze complex financial and project accounting requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance to optimize financial and resource management using Workday Finance and PSA.
• Design and configure Workday Finance modules with PSA integration (Projects/Billing/Tracking) and GL.
• Align project accounting with core financial reporting to support revenue recognition and billing.
• Serve as the primary client contact during implementation, ensuring clear communication.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.
• Lead end-user training on project-to-cash workflows and post-implementation support.

You will work closely with clients to understand their financial and project-based processes, configure Workday to meet their needs, and ensure a seamless deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze complex business requirements related to financial operations and project accounting.
• Provide strategic advice on optimizing financial and resource management processes using Workday Finance and Workday PSA.
• Solution Design & Configuration: * Design and configure Workday Finance modules, specifically focusing on PSA (Projects, Project Billing, and Project Tracking) alongside core modules like General Ledger.
• Align project accounting structures with core financial reporting to streamline revenue recognition, billing, and utilization metrics.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, maintaining clear and effective communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and internal teams to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including configuration guides, training materials, and user manuals.
• Conduct targeted training sessions for end-users (specifically around project-to-cash workflows) and provide post-implementation support to ensure successful system adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
• PSA Expertise: Proven, direct experience implementing and configuring Workday PSA (Projects/Project Billing) is required.
• Certification (Mandatory): Must possess at least one active Workday Finance core certification (e.g., Workday Financials Core).
• Core Financial Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial processes, project accounting, and best practices in Workday Finance, including General Ledger and Financial Reporting.
• System Configuration: Expertise in configuring complex business processes, custom organizations, and advanced financial reports.
