Neev is seeking an experienced Workday Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Workday Extend and Orchestration. You will design, build, and maintain robust Workday integrations and custom applications, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting internal teams to optimize Workday functionality and drive automation.

The role requires 5+ years in HR Technology, deep integration know-how, and the ability to function as a Business Analyst when needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR technology experience.
• 3+ years building Workday integrations with Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF, and WECI.
• 3+ years Workday HCM configuration, security setup, EIB inbounds, BPs, alerts/notifications, and dashboards.
• 1+ year hands-on Workday Extend and Orchestration development.
• Experience with SOAP/REST APIs and Import API patterns.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis skills.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Workday Extend and Orchestration. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust Workday integrations and custom applications. You will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, support internal teams, and act as a technical subject matter expert to optimize Workday functionality and drive automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration & Application Development: Design, build, test, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems using Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and Orchestration framework.
• Custom Solution Delivery: Develop and deploy custom business applications and additional functionality within Workday utilizing Workday Extend.
• Integrations Portfolio Management: Support and build a wide range of integration types including Core Connectors, Packaged Connectors, EIBs, Studio, PECI/PICOF, WECI, and custom API calls for third‑party systems (e.g., Ceridian).
• Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Gathering: Collaborate directly with business partners and technical teams to gather requirements, discover solutions, and manage requests coming through Jira.
• Business Analysis & Support: Act as a Business Analyst when needed to guide business teams on Workday best practices, functional setups, and process improvements.
• System Operations & Maintenance: Drive full ownership of Quality and RUN responsibilities for all Workday‑related projects. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues based on severity and business impact.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Author technical design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures. Provide training and knowledge transfer to support internal adoption of new features.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Overall Experience: 5+ years of overall experience working in HR Technology environments.
• Integration Expertise: 3+ years of hands‑on experience in building and supporting Workday integrations using Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Packaged Connectors, PECI/PICOF, WECI, BIRT, and Document Transformation.
• Functional & Core Setup: 3+ years of solid experience in Workday HCM configuration, Security Setup, EIB Inbounds, Business Processes (BPs), Alerts/Notifications framework, and Custom Dashboards.
• Mandatory Extension Skills: 1+ years of mandatory hands‑on experience developing within Workday Extend and Orchestration.
• API Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in Workday Studio, SOAP APIs, REST APIs, and Import API patterns.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with demonstrated business analyst capabilities and problem‑solving passion.

Preferred / Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience building and supporting Workday Payroll Integrations.
• Familiarity with Workday Data Conversion / DCOD concepts.
