We are looking to hire Analyst II - Workday Practice – D in Digital Solutions, Career; India COE and expect the candidate to:
- Plan and prioritize work for self, assist lead by providing inputs on in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.
- Lead / Manage small implementation projects / Launch implementations, manage workload for the team, assist team in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.
- Develop complex configuration for clients & leads, manage data transformation and perform EIB Data loads.
- Provide go-live assistance and ongoing support.
- Lead & Involve in Data conversion activities pertaining to Learning.
- Coordinate with the Lead, EM / PM or Client for any project delivery.
- Multi-task and engage on multiple projects for lead activities.
- End to end ownership of assigned projects.
- Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on business / technical requirements for the client’s and work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities.
- Prepare documentation and support in providing overview of work capabilities for respective functional area and Data conversion.
- Design the Workday solution to meet the stated needs with Workday tools and technologies.
- Work on data gathering workbooks and review it with client for any gaps.
- Work on the configuration and data loads as applicable.
- Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of the work delivered and review peer’s work.
- Migration – Should be aware of migration methodologies and must be able to migrate Learning components from source tenant to target tenant with help of functional checklist.
- Application Testing – Assist clients with the testing of the delivered configuration, defect resolution. Testing is driven by the scenarios from the client team.
- Production Support – Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution for a period of time post deployment.
- AMS – Work on the tickets assigned and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
- Production Rollout – Assist with the rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment.
- Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations.
- Interact and communicate effectively with lead, mid and senior level management.
- Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration.
- Develop Reports / Dashboards using Workday provided tools (Report Designer, Matrix reports etc.) related to Learning module.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with Workday Project Lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge in Workday Learning module.
- Basic/Good knowledge on other Workday module such as Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent & Performance would be an added advantage.
- Strong Knowledge in Workday tools like Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Object Transporter, Advance Load.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach around it.
- Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.
- Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.
- Ability to train users in a classroom setting.
- Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a home office for remote work.
- Should be at least certified in Workday HCM Core, Learning.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Learning Module.
- Should have lead minimum 2 implementation project in Lead capacity.
- Should have at least “On Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal.
- Minimum 12 months of experience at the previous career level Senior Analyst I – Workday Practice (C2).
- Should not be under any Performance Improvement Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months.
- Should not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer within the last 3 months.
