Job summary

Earn Modes in India is seeking a WordPress Developer to build robust WordPress sites with theme and plugin customization, REST API development, and third-party service integration on a Linux/AWS stack.

You will collaborate with the team, mentor juniors, and ensure high-quality code and timely delivery. 3–6 years experience and a BE/BE/MCA/MTech are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in engineering or MCA/MTech is required.
• Strong WordPress development experience and plugin/theme customization.
• Hands-on with REST API development on WordPress and AWS basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop WordPress themes and plugins and customize sites.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services on WordPress back-end.
• Mentor technical team for maintenance and new tasks.

We are looking for aWordpress Developerwho is result-oriented, believes in leading from the front, and is always willing to go the extra mile. The role requires a talented, self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and the following skills-

The role will involve
Should have excellent knowledge in WordPress & MySQL
Must know about theme customization
Must have experience in WordPress plugin integration/development/Customization
Must have experience in developing REST API on WordPress back-end
Strong knowledge in JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, XML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS & knowledge of working with third party web services
Should know the Webhooks
Must have experience of WordPress Development over Linux Operating System, basic AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Cloudfront, and basic knowledge of Cloudflare
Should be aware of using phpMyAdmin, MySQL-Workbench, FileZilla, SSH client
Mentor technical team for all maintenance and new site tasks
