Job summary

HNR Tech is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our development team and work on designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing WordPress-based websites and web applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, themes, plugins, APIs, and third-party integrations, and collaborate with Product Managers and QA to deliver scalable, secure, high-performing solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress development.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Foundational to strong understanding of SQL and databases.
• Experience with Git and DevOps workflows.
• Good understanding of website performance optimization and security practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English via email and video calls.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities
