Transjet Cargo Messi An Pu is seeking a hands-on WordPress developer with a proven SEO track record to manage a growing portfolio of company-owned sites. You will build themes, customize PHP, optimize performance, and ensure security and reliability while aligning with an AI-first workflow.

You will work on technical SEO, on-page content, and programmatic SEO, collaborating with a US-based team. The role requires 5+ years, strong English, and willingness to overlap US Central time from IST

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on WordPress development.
• Proven SEO results with real keywords and traffic growth.
• Fluent with the standard stack: Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog.
• Hosting fundamentals: DNS, Cloudflare, cPanel or managed WP hosts, staging workflows. Git is a plus.
• Strong written English; you'll work directly with a US team, so clear writing matters as much as clean code.
• Based in [CITY] or willing to relocate. This is an on-site role at our office, not remote.
• Willing to work a shifted schedule: at least 4 hours of daily overlap with US Central time.
• Self-directed. You can own 6+ sites without anyone chasing you.
• AI-native workflow. You already use Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT to write code, debug, and speed up SEO work.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve a portfolio of company-owned WordPress sites: themes, plugins, custom PHP/CSS/JS, page speed, security, backups
• Handle development yourself. Custom theme work, site migrations, staging to production, troubleshooting. No outsourcing, no "I'll check with my developer"
• Run technical SEO across the portfolio: audits, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawl and indexation, site architecture, redirects
• Own on-page SEO and content operations: keyword research, topical maps, content briefs, internal linking
• Build programmatic SEO plays and AI-assisted content pipelines with our agent stack
• Work inside an AI-first stack: coding assistants, MCP-connected tools, and agent pipelines are how we operate day to day, not a novelty
• Set up and maintain tracking: Google Search Console, GA4, rank tracking, and reporting that both humans and our AI agents can read
• Run white-hat link acquisition where it moves the needle
• Document what you build. Clean SOPs, so systems outlive any one person

No clients. No agency churn. Every site you work on is ours, so your work compounds instead of resetting every time a contract ends.

The Role

Most people are one or the other. A developer who "knows some SEO," or an SEO who needs a dev for every fix. We need the rare person who's genuinely both.

You'll own our website portfolio end to end. You build the sites with your own hands. You rank them. You fix what breaks, you track what matters, and you don't wait for someone else to do the technical part, because you are the technical part.

The AI Part (Read This Before Applying)

Let's be clear about what we mean here, because most applicants get this wrong.

We don't mean "I added a chatbot to a website." That's not it. Not even close.

We mean AI is already how you work. You use tools like Claude Code or Cursor to ship dev work in hours instead of days. You run AI through your keyword research, content production, and technical audits. You've connected AI to real systems through MCP servers, APIs, or automations, or you're actively building toward that. The goal: one person here produces what a three-person team produced a few years ago, because AI handles the grunt work and you direct it.

If AI still feels like a toy to you, this isn't your role. If it's already your daily multiplier, you'll feel right at home.

• Proven SEO results you can show us. Real keywords, real traffic growth, real numbers. "I managed the SEO team" doesn't count
• Fluent with the standard stack: Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog
• Hosting fundamentals: DNS, Cloudflare, cPanel or managed WP hosts, staging workflows. Git is a plus
• Strong written English. You'll work directly with a US team, so clear writing matters as much as clean code
• Based in [CITY] or willing to relocate. This is an on-site role at our office, not remote
• Willing to work a shifted schedule: at least 4 hours of daily overlap with US Central time. That means your office day runs into the evening IST, roughly 6:30 to 10:30 PM or later
