Job summary
Indux Technology is seeking enthusiastic WordPress Developer Interns in Pune to assist in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites. You’ll work with the development, design, and marketing teams to build responsive, user-friendly sites and gain hands-on experience on live projects.
The role offers exposure to themes, plugins, and page builders, with opportunities to learn SEO basics, site optimization, and security practices.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and website development.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with Elementor or similar page builders is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of responsive web design.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization is an advantage.
- Familiarity with domains, hosting, and website management is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of website performance and security is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Create and customize WordPress pages using themes and page builders.
- Customize website layouts, themes, plugins, and features as required.
- Assist in installing, configuring, and managing WordPress plugins.
- Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and usability.
- Identify and troubleshoot website errors and technical issues.
- Assist in updating website content, images, and other digital assets.
- Implement basic SEO practices on WordPress websites.
- Assist in website security, backups, and routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with designers and content/marketing teams.
- Research WordPress trends, plugins, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for website improvements.
