Job Description

The RFP Management Candidate will be required to work on procurement processes, including:

  1. RFP floating and comparative analysis of offers
  2. Negotiation and vendor communication (in person, via emails, calls, and video conferences)
  3. Vendor contracts and agreements
  4. Preparation of request notes for approvals and presentations
  5. Coordination with local indenting teams and other EUs/BUs to ensure required deliverables
  6. Providing strategic inputs in the process to achieve excellence
  7. Strategic sourcing approach and coordination with Non-India Location Procurement team for driving strategies
  8. Improving vendor database
  9. Conducting negotiations and driving cost optimization
  10. Driving performance parameters with the help of the reporting manager
  11. Coordinating with the finance team for payment-related challenges whenever required

The candidate should be able to work on the end-to-end process with minimal supervision.

Data Base Management:

Responsibilities include MIS information gathering and general sourcing of vendors and items.

Qualifications

Graduate/Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 3-4 years of procurement experience in the IT/ITES/BPO/BPM industry and overall 6-7 years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and indirect procurement.

Clear understanding of procurement aspects and strategies, hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, speed in vendor identification, and concluding transactions. Must be process-oriented and able to guide internal stakeholders on process adherence while understanding client needs and adhering to TAT.

Additional requirements include:

  1. Very good understanding of procurement processes
  2. Added advantage if worked on Oracle or other ERP platforms
  3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, Access
  4. Experience supporting a global, multi-site business
  5. Strong knowledge of company practices, structure, policy, and procedure or the ability to learn and retain quickly
  6. Effective interpersonal skills
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  8. Excellent analytical skills
