Job summary

Delaplex is seeking a Techno-Functional Consultant to configure, develop, and support Blue Yonder WMS. The role blends functional warehouse operations with MOCA-based technical development to deliver supply chain solutions.

You will configure WMS, translate business requirements to technical specs, and perform UAT and post-go-live support while building integrations with ERP/TMS and creating reports and labels. Strong MOCA and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS implementations or support.
• Strong MOCA scripting proficiency.
• Solid understanding of core Warehouse Operations and Supply Chain processes.
• Experience with SQL (Oracle or MS-SQL) for database queries and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills with technical teams and business users.

Responsibilities

• Configure the Blue Yonder WMS to meet business needs (location definitions, labor standards, wave management).
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live support.
• Design, develop, and modify MOCA commands to customize WMS functionality.
• Develop and maintain integrations between WMS and ERP/TMS/automation systems.
• Create and modify reports, labels (NiceLabels/Jasper), and screens (DDA/Page Builder).
• Utilize SQL/PL-SQL for data analysis, queries, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues related to WMS and MOCA code.

Summary

The Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for the configuration, development, and support of the Blue Yonder (formerly JDA/RedPrairie) Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role requires a blend of functional expertise in warehouse operations and strong technical skills in MOCA programming to deliver effective supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Expertise:
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from warehouse operations teams (e.g., Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Shipping).
  • Configure the Blue Yonder WMS application to meet functional business needs (e.g., location definitions, labor standards, wave management).
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live support.
• Technical Development (MOCA):
  • Design, develop, and modify MOCA (McHugh Open Concept Architecture) commands and scripts to customize WMS functionality.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between WMS and other systems (ERP, TMS, automation) using Integrator or other interfacing tools.
  • Create and modify reports, labels (NiceLabels/Jasper), and screens (DDA/Page Builder).
  • Utilize SQL/PL-SQL for data analysis, queries, and complex troubleshooting.
• Support & Maintenance:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to WMS functionality and custom MOCA code.
  • Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
  • Maintain technical and functional documentation for all changes and configurations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in MOCA scripting and WMS technical development.
