Job summary

NKRF in Bengaluru is seeking skilled personnel for assembling and testing military and defence wire harnesses and cable assemblies. The role involves reading engineering drawings, performing cutting, crimping, soldering, and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in defence/aerospace wiring harness manufacturing, knowledge of MIL-SPEC connectors, and precise workmanship with attention to detail. Safety and documentation are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in manufacturing wire harness for defence & aerospace.
• Familiarity with MIL-SPEC and aerospace connectors; experience with military-grade connectors and soldering techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a high level of precision.

Responsibilities

• Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies by following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools specific to wire harness assembly.
• Conduct basic continuity and functional testing on completed assemblies.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and production schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Ability to make coax cables is a pluspoint.
