Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure, O365, and Intune Administrator with a strong foundation in Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Azure infrastructures, including O365, Intune, and Windows Server, to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of our cloud-based services.
Responsibilities
- Azure Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Microsoft Entra ID, Storage Accounts, Network components, and PaaS offerings. Implement and manage Azure governance solutions, such as role-based access control (RBAC) and Azure Policy.
- M365 Administration: Configure and maintain email and collaboration services in Exchange, SharePoint & Teams. Ensure the security and compliance of the O365 environment using Microsoft Defender/Security and Microsoft Purview tools.
- Intune Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage mobile devices, PCs, and applications. Proficiency in creating Intune policies.
- Windows Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server in a hybrid environment. Perform regular updates, patches, and security hardening of Windows Servers.
- SQL Server Administration: Install, configure, and manage SQL Server instances on Azure and Windows Server.
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure including access points, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security best practices for Azure resources and Windows servers, including Firewall policies, network security groups (NSGs), Azure Security Center, and encryption.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates to streamline operations.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Set up and manage monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and third-party tools.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure resources and the virtualization environment. Ensure regular backups and conduct periodic recovery tests.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide end-user technical support and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, O365, Intune, Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Documentation and Training: Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ability to work night shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience with Azure, O365, Intune, Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server administration.
- Proficiency with security best practices for cloud and on-premises environments (RBAC, NSGs, encryption, Defender, Purview).
- Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
- Ability to configure and manage monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Willingness to work night shifts as needed.
