Job summary

Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to design, deploy, and manage VMware and Azure environments across on-prem and cloud platforms in Hyderabad.

The role emphasizes Windows Server administration, identity services, patch management, automation with PowerShell and Ansible, and disaster recovery planning using Commvault. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security standards and SLA targets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT infrastructure experience with hands-on VMware and Azure
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022/2025)
• Deep knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management
• Patching and patch management experience across servers
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Familiarity with ManageEngine for IT operations
• Experience with Commvault backup and disaster recovery
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware ESXi/vCenter environments for high availability and performance
• Architect and manage Azure infrastructure including VMs, networking, storage, and identity services
• Administer and support Windows Server environments; Azure DevTest Labs & Horizon VDIs
• Manage Entra ID & Active Directory including GPOs, OU structure, identity lifecycle, and security hardening
• Configure and maintain core infra services: DNS and DHCP
• Perform OS patching and vulnerability remediation across servers
• Utilize ManageEngine tools for monitoring and IT operations management
• Develop automation scripts with PowerShell and Ansible to streamline tasks
• Follow Incident, Change and Problem Management processes
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLA adherence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on upgrades, migrations and cloud adoption
• Ensure security standards and policies are followed
• Manage backup and disaster recovery using Commvault

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualized environments (ESXi, vCenter) ensuring high availability and performance. Architect and manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services. Administer and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Azure DevTest Labs & Horizon VDIs. Manage Entra ID & Active Directory services including GPOs, OU structure, identity lifecycle, and security hardening. Configure and maintain core infrastructure services such as DNS and DHCP. Perform OS patching and vulnerability remediation across servers using enterprise patch management tools. Utilize ManageEngine tools for monitoring, reporting, and IT operations management. Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Ansible to streamline operational tasks. Abiding by Incident, Change and Problem Management procedures. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLA adherence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives. Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices. Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations using Commvault, ensuring data protection, retention compliance, and successful disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with strong hands-on expertise in VMware and Azure. Solid experience with Windows Server administration (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022/2025). Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. Hands-on experience with OS patching and patch management processes. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration. Experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration. Familiarity with ManageEngine suite Experience with Commvault backup solutions and disaster recovery processes. Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in VMware (VCP), Microsoft Azure (AZ-104/AZ-305), or Windows Server. Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
