IT is a permanent role with our client, name confidential. We are looking for a Windchill Developer, which includes 70% of your work in development and 30% in configuration, customization, and administration. Please find the detailed JD mentioned below.

Senior Windchill Developer/Lead:

Our client is currently seeking a strong Windchill developer who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers. The developer will be involved in all phases of projects, from analysis of client’s needs to implementation, customization, and reporting on a variety of solutions. The developer will be dealing with large, high-profile clients in the media & technology domain and will be required to configure and customize solutions to the client’s complex needs. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and a willingness to provide support along with strong technical knowledge.

The expectation is this person should have 8 plus years of experience with Windchill development.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Developing and maintaining software using Java and enterprise system APIs
2. Actively participating in all stages of the implementation project from development through testing
3. Developing relationships with the clients and supporting them during the project lifecycle
4. Meeting with and utilizing teammates’ expertise to maximize project efficiency
5. Documenting methods and lessons learned

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Prior experience with the media and technology industry is a major plus
2. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science and equivalent experience in the development industry
3. Experience with Java programming, specifically with Windchill API
4. Experience with ERP integrations preferred
5. In-depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development preferred
6. Database experience (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus
