Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Windchill PLM engineer to own Windchill solutioning and lead a team through greenfield Windchill implementations. You will architect integrations with ThingWorx, Navigate, and IoT/digital thread ecosystems, manage PDMLink, PartLink, MPMLink, BOM and change/configuration management, and drive DevOps/CI-CD for Windchill deployments.

You will drive UAT, cutover planning, hypercare, and post-go-live optimization while ensuring robust data

Qualifications

• 9+ years of PLM experience with Windchill.
• Led large-scale Windchill implementations (greenfield preferred).
• Strong domain familiarity in engineering, manufacturing, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Own Windchill solutioning and guide team.
• Architect integrations between Windchill and ThingWorx, Navigate, and IoT/digital thread environments.
• Define APIs, middleware flows, and integration patterns.
• Establish Windchill architecture & clusters; manage DevOps/CI-CD for deployments.

Engineering degree with 9+ years of experience in PLM with a minimum of 9+ years in PTC Windchill.

Successfully led at least one (preferably multiple) large-scale greenfield Windchill implementations.

Strong domain familiarity in engineering, manufacturing, and product development.

Own Windchill solutioning and guide team including:

• PDMLink, PartLink, MPMLink, and Supplier Management
• Change management, configuration management, BOM management
• CAD data management and visualization

Architect integrations between Windchill and:

• ThingWorx, Navigate, and IoT/digital thread environments

• WBM (Windchill Bulk Migrator)
• Define APIs, middleware flows, and integration patterns.
• Windchill architecture & clusters
• Java/J2EE, Info*Engine, OData, REST APIs
• Database systems (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Apache/Tomcat, directory services (LDAP/AD)
• Establish DevOps/CI-CD approaches for Windchill deployments.
• Drive UAT, cutover planning, hypercare, and post‑go‑live optimization.
