About the Role

XFactr™.AI is looking for a skilled Windchill Administrator to support and manage PLM systems for enterprise-scale engineering environments. The role involves administering, configuring, and maintaining the Windchill platform to ensure seamless product lifecycle management and collaboration across engineering teams.

Note: This role is for our global enterprise client in the energy management and industrial automation domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the PTC Windchill PLM system to ensure stability and optimal performance.
• Manage user roles, access controls, and system configurations within the Windchill environment.
• Support engineering teams with product data management, version control, and workflow processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windchill applications and integrations.
• Configure and maintain workflows, lifecycle states, and change management processes.
• Coordinate with IT teams, developers, and business users for system enhancements and upgrades.
• Perform regular system maintenance, backups, and patch management.
• Document system configurations, processes, and support procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Windchill Administrator or PLM Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill PLM platform administration and configuration.
• Experience with user management, workflows, and lifecycle management in Windchill.
• Familiarity with database concepts, system monitoring, and server administration.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.
• Experience working in enterprise engineering environments.

Good to Have

• Experience with Windchill upgrades, customizations, or integrations.
• Knowledge of Java, scripting, or system automation tools.
• Familiarity with CAD integrations such as Creo or other engineering tools.
• Exposure to DevOps or cloud-based infrastructure environments.
