Weighbridge Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system to record weights of incoming and outgoing trucks accurately.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle movements, weight logs, and discrepancies.
• Verify truck load details against dispatch and receiving documents.
• Ensure that all vehicles comply with weight restrictions and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with drivers, security personnel, and site supervisors for smooth operations.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities in weighing operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of the weighbridge area.
• Assist in periodic audits and reconciliations of weighbridge records.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental protocols in mining operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management to support operational needs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Bachelors degree preferred.
• Certification in weighbridge operations or logistics (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, weighbridge software).
• Good communication skills in [Local Language], Hindi, and English.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in mining operations.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work in a remote mining location with shift-based duties.
• Physically fit to work in an industrial setting.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
