Job summary

You’ll work with backend languages like Java, Python, or C++, and with SQL/NoSQL databases. You’ll participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvements to engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• At least 2 years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with backend languages such as Java, Python or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and improve scalable, modern full‑stack web applications.
• Analyze problems and develop solutions, identifying dependencies and issues.
• Write and review design docs, tests, and code (JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL).
• Provide SME knowledge and follow Google's standards and practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify pain points and devise solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• 2 years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, and prioritize/manage tasks efficiently.
• Ability to provide effective technical solutions to business challenges.
• Passion for engineering, with experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.

• Analyze problems and develop solutions, while identifying dependencies and resolving issues to drive implementation.
• Make technical contributions, including writing and reviewing design documents, tests, and code (e.g., JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL).
• Provide subject-matter expertise and utilize comprehensive knowledge of Google's relevant technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional users and stakeholders to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions.
