Overview

Walk-in interview for the engagement of the post of Web Developer (on Contract), purely on contractual basis initially for the period of 01 years, extendable depending on the need for the Institute and performance. The details regarding eligibility, roles, etc. are given as under:

Position

Name of the Post: Web Developer (on Contract)

Number of Post: 01 (one)

Monthly Emolument: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA as per the Central Government norms applicable for Nainital.

Tenure: 01 year with scope of extension as per the requirement

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years

Qualifications

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Computer Science/ IT) / BCA / Engineering Diploma (Computer/IT streams) or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Minimum of 6 months of working knowledge in:

1. Handling of databases – MySQL/PostgreSQL
2. Handling PHP, theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal CMS
3. Handling the front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/jQuery, JSON, HTML, AJAX, and CSS
4. Amazon Cloud or other cloud technology

Job Profile

• Updating and maintaining ARIES Websites on a daily basis.
• Responsible for detecting and fixing bugs in the website.
• Understanding the requirements and creating nodes/ blocks contents accordingly.
• To develop customized theme/module as per the requirement.
• Designing banners/templates/logo/advertisements or other interactive elements.
• Adding features and enhancements in the web pages to ensure an appealing, functional and intuitive implementation.
• Research and install modules to meet project requirements
• Managing concurrency and security in the website.
• Contributing in the Intranet/e-Admin web page and forms creation
• Creating new content and updating old content on websites.
• Full-stack application development in ongoing projects, if needed.
• Any other technical tasks related to the website as per the requirement.
