Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in Bengaluru is seeking a Java Web Developer to design, test, document, and troubleshoot Java-based applications for sales and operations teams. You will work with developers and support teams to translate requirements into functional software.

The role requires 2+ years of development experience, a CS-related degree, and hands-on experience with Java, front-end tooling, and databases. This is a hybrid role with three days in office.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and maintaining Java-based web applications.
• Experience translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Knowledge of front-end development using Angular or GWT.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in the business web application used by our sales and operations teams.
• Convert functional and business requirements into technical specifications.
• Create working code from technical specifications and perform unit/system testing.
• Participate in code reviews and assist support in troubleshooting as needed.

The person in this position will be responsible for coding, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting Java web applications for sales and operations teams. The person in this role will work closely with other developers and support teams in the course of application development and troubleshooting.

Work Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)
