• Manage website content through WordPress or other CMS platforms; ensure timely publication of notices and events.
• Monitor performance and optimize page speed, Core Web Vitals, and user experience.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Web Developer with 34 years of hands-on experience in website development, maintenance, performance optimization, and technical SEO.

The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining university, hospital, departmental, admission, and conference websites, along with landing pages and microsites. The ideal candidate should have strong frontend development skills, working knowledge of backend technologies, CMS platforms, API integration, website security, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance university, hospital, departmental, and conference websites.
• Build responsive, mobile-first, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Develop and maintain admission landing pages and microsites focused on lead generation and user experience.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services as required.
• Manage website content through WordPress/CMS platforms or static websites.
• Ensure timely publication of notices, events, admissions, academic information, and other website content.
• Monitor website performance and optimize page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall user experience.
• Implement technical SEO practices including metadata, schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, robots.txt, and URL optimization.
• Identify and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and basic security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive compatibility.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and deliver website updates within agreed timelines.
• Develop new website features and automate repetitive web-related tasks wherever applicable.
• Maintain source code using Git/GitHub and follow version-control best practices.
• Support website deployment, hosting, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain records of website changes and updates.
