Job summary

DealerOn, INC in Pune is seeking a Web Designer to support client projects with design changes and front-end coding. You will work with the Implementation and Client Support teams to deliver visually appealing, responsive webpages using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.

The role requires a 3–5 year track record in web design, an Associate degree in digital media or related field, and the ability to hand-code HTML/CSS without WordPress or PHP. This is a night shift, office-based position in Pune.

Qualifications

The Web Designer will be responsible for supporting Implementation and Client Support teams through completing website design changes as requested by clients. Tasks may require both graphic design and coding (primarily HTML, CSS, and jQuery).

• Stay informed and ahead of industry trends, incorporating modern techniques in projects and designs.

Required Skills/Experience

• Associate degree in digital media, Graphic Design, or related field
• 3-5 years of work experience in web design, including responsive web design
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
• Strong fundamental HTML/CSS skills (applicants should be able to hand-code, we do not use WordPress, PHP, etc.)
• Knowledge of the latest trends in design and front-end website development (Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, SASS etc.)
• Familiar with responsive web design concepts
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience working with Content Management Systems.
• Basic knowledge of design principles: typography; color theory; and layout
• Familiarity with Bootstrap framework (Bootstrap 3+).
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other web marketing practices
