Job summary

Digital Edge, a data center platform company, is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer based in India to drive customer-facing and internal portal solutions. You will own the product roadmap, partner with stakeholders, and deliver scalable, maintainable features aligned with business goals.

You should bring 6+ years of web app development experience with React, strong JS/TS, Node.js, Python, SQL/NoSQL, UI/UX expertise, and hands-on Kubernetes with Azure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in web application development with React.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, NoSQL and in-memory databases.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices.
• Hands-on experience in containerization, Kubernetes and integrating with Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop complex, high-performance web applications with a focus on scalability, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Design and maintain reusable, consistent UI components; build rich and interactive data visualizations.
• Design and implement API for frontend and integration with different systems.
• Manage applications end-to-end: environment setup, development, deployment and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to illustrate POC, translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
• Perform technical documentation, implement software engineering best practices, perform code review and mentor junior developers.

What we need

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, the Senior Web Application Developer will partner closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for customer-facing and operational portal solutions. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the product roadmap, establishing detailed project plans, and delivering high-quality features and functionality aligned with business objectives. This position is based in India.

• Architect and develop complex, high-performance web applications with a focus on scalability, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Design and maintain reusable, consistent UI components; build rich and interactive data visualizations.
• Design and implement API for frontend and integration with different systems.

The successful candidate

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
• 6+ years of experience in web application development with component-based framework (React).
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, NoSQL and in-memory DBs.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices.
• Hands‑on experience in containerization, Kubernetes and integrating with Azure services (e.g., AKS, SQL Database, etc.).

Preferred

• Experience in automated testing.
• Understanding of UX analytics and site optimization.
• Experience in DevSecOps.
• Experience in application monitoring.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding / agentic coding and AI integration.
• Exposure to server-side rendering frameworks.
